This creative class is split over 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings running from 6pm - 8pm, created for beginners to design and make your own mini jewellery project!
In a relaxed teaching atmosphere using traditional silversmithing techniques, you’ll be given all the tools required to create your piece. And as this class has an open brief, silver is available to purchase as you go, charged at £1.30 per gram with chains sold separately.
This workshop is suitable for ages 14 upwards joined by a participating adult due to the use of blowtorches and saws, providing you with basic silversmithing skills you can build upon.
HOW TO FIND US
Metamorphic Charm is located at the Curborough Countryside Centre, Watery Lane, Lichfield WS13 8ES. On arrival, you will enter a gravel car park which is free for all visitors and we are situated in studio 20.
This year, a section of Watery Lane will be fully closed intermittently from the Eastern Avenue end, but a diversion will be in place to allow continued access to the centre.
Those coming from the Lichfield side (Eastern Avenue) will be diverted to the Centre via an alternative route, which will take just a few extra minutes. Please allow extra journey time when planning your visit.
To redeem a gift card as payment for a workshop, please email or call us to arrange your booking.
As a special thank you for booking onto one of my courses, I offer a 10% discount off any jewellery purchased directly after a workshop, in a private shopping experience.
Our neighbours at Thyme Kitchen also offer our students a generous slice of 20% off their main menu on the day of your class, subject to availability.
To secure your place, workshops must be paid for in full via the website, by bank transfer (referencing your workshop date) to Metamorphic Charm Account number 59905468 Sort code 30-90-09 at the time of booking or by using a valid gift card, issued within 12 months, and presented on arrival before your workshop. Out of date gift cards cannot be accepted as payment. If an expired gift card is presented on the day of your workshop, full payment must be made before your lesson can commence.
By making this payment you agree to the following terms and conditions and understand that this payment is non-refundable.
Bookings are transferable should you wish to move the date - a minimum of 14 days is required prior to your class to do this. Please do not attend if you have COVID-19.
Please arrive on time for your workshop. Students who arrive to their workshop over 10 minutes late, will have a reduced class so as not to overrun their timeslot. Students arriving 20 minutes late will be treated as a non-attendance and their workshop will be cancelled and non-refundable.

The cost of a workshop covers 3 hours expert tuition, using up to 6g of silver, access to our workshop equipment under our supervision and refreshments available throughout.
Our workshops are designed as an introduction to silversmithing for beginners, and as such, we cannot guarantee the outcome of your designs. Jewellery produced is not regarded as a commission or purchase. Therefore, any adjustments or repairs requested after your lesson will be at an additional cost to yourself.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch and thank you for your understanding.
